Stefanos Tsitsipas has had a good outing so far in his 2022 season. After ending his season early last year due to injuries, Tsitsipas has bounced back and had a decent performance this year.

Off-the-court the World No.5 is spending quality time with his girlfriend Theodora Petalas as he gears up for the first Masters 1000 tournament of the year, Indian Wells. The Greek star took to Instagram to share snaps of the couple together in California. They were also seen enjoying the LA Lakers and Golden State Warriors game from the sidelines.

The pair have reportedly been dating for 3 years and Tsitsipas has been quite vocal about the pairs’ relationship, he revealed his relationship with Petalas back in 2021. Petalas is sometimes seen in the player’s box cheering on her partner and was recently spotted on the courtside at the ATP Rotterdam Open, where Tsitsipas finished as the runner-up.

Tsitsipas appears to be back in form after a topsy-turvy start to his season. He lost his ATP Cup tie against Diego Schwartzman before receiving a walkover in the next match. But he shrugged his poor start with a brilliant performance at the Australian Open. After struggling in the opening rounds, Tsitsipas put on a stellar display to knock out Jannik Sinner in the quarter-finals, but then lost to bitter rival Daniil Medvedev in the controversial semi-final match, in which he was handed a code violation for receiving coaching advice mid-match.

Following that, he reached the finals of the ATP Rotterdam Open where he lost to Felix-Auger Aliassime in the finals. At his next tournament, Tsitsipas entered as the top seed but was upset by World No.163 Roman Safiullin. He then backed it up with a semifinals finish in Acapulco. However his doubles campaign was more promising as he lifted After a brief break, the 23-year-old will be heading to Indian Wells, where he will be looking to win his 1st title of the year.
